Abstract：
As a veteran in communication IC industry, the author shares his experiences in the career of communication IC industry in Taiwan. He expects to address some questions that a master or PhD students may have in his/her studies in a communication institute. First of all, we study a lot of courses, which are math-intensive. Are they useful in the industry? Second, there are a lot of different trainings before you get the PhD degree. Are these helpful in the industry? The last but not the least, the author will share some tips to do well as an algorithm designer in communication IC industry. The author expects to help students be prepared before joining in communication IC design industry.
