Abstract：
With development of wireless communication technologies, mobile devices are commonly equipped with multiple network interfaces and ready to adopt multipath TCP (MPTCP) for improved performance and availability. Bandwidth demanding applications ranging from video streaming to certain Internet of Things scenarios can benefit from the path aggregation. This talk will exam the trends of aggregating wireless access technologies with MPTCP. A dynamic MPTCP mechanism enabling seamless vertical handover will first be introduced with demonstration. Then works toward joint congestion and scheduling control will be presented to show the path of future evolvement.
