Abstract：
This talk will give a brief overview of MIR, and explain the basics of QBSH (query by singing/humming) and AFP (audio fingerprinting) with live demos. Moreover, we shall address our recent progress on singing voice separation, and point out the current challenges and future directions of MIR.
