Abstract:
Firstly, in the speech, the team work model for baseband modem design is conceptually introduced. It helps audience to understand what kinds of tasks and challenges you are going to encounter when joining the industry, specifically for LTE and NR modems. Following that, the role and responsibility (RnR) of algorithm design team is presented, including the partition of modem modules. Before the end of the speech, there is a Q&A session, wherein tips for improving interview performance will be discussed.
Bio:
Dr. Chen於2011夏天畢業於蔡育仁教援實驗室,獲取國立清華大學通訊所博士學位. Dr. Chen的研究領域包含multimedia transmission, multicast/broadcast services, resource optimization, and OFDM systems. 畢業後,隨即加入晨星半導體,並於一年後合併進入聯發科技,期間參與過3G,4G和5G的Rx晶片演算法設計,作品包含synchronization, RLM and CSI相關演算法開發. Dr. Chen現今仍任職於聯發科技,擔任技術副理,除了持續研發通訊系統演算法外,也負責帶領小組進行團隊合作,並同時提攜新進同仁.
