Abstract:
The ultimate entertainment experience is to put yourself in the center of a multimedia world. For example, 3D multimedia bridges the multimedia processing and our daily real life. 3D movies revamped the user experiences with the feeling of presence. The advances of virtual reality further enhance the gaming experience by providing binocular inputs. The pre-described 3D multimedia rich life requires the support of several fundamental signal processing tasks that will be briefly addressed in this talk.
