Topic :

Deep Battery Saver - End-to-end Learning for Power Constrained Contrast Enhancement

Abstract :

The display panels are regarded as the primary power consumer that often accounts for more than half of the total power consumption in handheld devices, such as smartphones, tablets, etc. In this talk, I will introduce an end-to-end online-training model for processing images to consume less power while preserving a similar perceptual quality to the original versions, especially for emissive displays.
